The chance to fly is there, but the choice is yours

Google

Given wings, people will fly. Some will soar high and beautiful as eagles; some will fly awkwardly as crows, screaming more than flying; some will go up and down without a true flight plan, some will fly as little and as low as the chickens. Some, however, will not even try to fly, rather putting their heads into the ground out of fear like ostriches. But everyone must receive wings regardless what they will do with that: the chance of flying must be given to all. The opportunity to experience it is what matter.

The sun is beautiful and warm, shining high in the mid day sky in SF. Seagulls disputing space and food with pidgeons in the Civic Center Square fill the air with misplaced nautical sounds.I left the building with my hands still gelid from the office's air conditioning. I smell summer in the air, the sky is gloriously blue and, being embraced by the sun when I cross the street, I long for my hometown in an almost painful way. I am tropical, I miss the sun, I miss the sea. A dirty homeless is seated in the shade with the Street Sheet he was selling spread all around him. His head was almost on his lap, he was moving slowly: not dead, thank God. Yet. I buy a small sandwich for lunch and return to my polar office, feeling more entrapped than ever..
