Povos do Mar II
5.25.2012
História Comum
Se mesclam, se misturam e se juntam
Na história de um povo
Vidas interlaçadas,
Intercaladas,
na construção de uma nação
Estranhos construtores
de experiência comuns,
de futuros comuns
Os alheios, os estranhos,
os outros,
sem se darem conta,
fazem e refazem suas histórias
e sua história,
juntos,
mas sem se notar.
Estranho ser humano.
Povos do Mar
Os povos do mar
têm o horizonte como limite.
Ilimitado.
O sal tempera-lhes os espíritos,
inchando as saudades,
mas secando eventuais tristezas.
Os povos do mar
não temem molhar os pés
em águas e aventuras.
O sol que lhes beija as frontes,
também tinge de dourado
os olhos e os olhares.
Os povos do mar
Se lançam em busca de oceanos outros
Mares, naturais caminhos
daqueles que vão só,
mas nunca sozinhos.

But I am back.
I found The Daily Meme and wanted to share:

A meme is:
An idea that, like a gene, can replicate and evolve.
A unit of cultural information that represents a basic idea that can be transferred from one individual to another, and subjected to mutation, crossover and adaptation.
A cultural unit (an idea or value or pattern of behavior) that is passed from one generation to another by nongenetic means (as by imitation); “memes are the cultural counterpart of genes”.
Origins of the word
The term and concept of meme is from the 1976 book by Richard Dawkins, The Selfish Gene. Though Dawkins defined the meme as “a unit of cultural transmission, or a unit of imitation,” memeticists vary in their definitions of meme. The lack of a consistent, rigorous definition of what precisely a meme is remains one of the principal criticisms leveled at memetics, the study of memes. (from the Wikipedia)

When I was dead
I was about to open my eyes,
But I heard someone cussing.
Then, another one.
And another.
Someone called me an old fart.
Someone else said I was cruel and insane.
The first one said I was an ogre.
Then I heard my wife’s opinions:
A fake, stupid, limited man,
With the head in his dick,
Always ready to fool someone.
Money was my sin,
And I always thought I could buy everyone.
Someone told her she sold herself,
And I wanted to laugh,
But she said she was the mother of my children,
And she endured things for them.
That conversation lasted a long time,
And for the pain and anger in their voices,
All I did was hurt and wrong people.
I didn’t know I was like that.
I didn’t think like that.
It was better when I was dead.

Entendimento
